Dr. Shawn P. Tierney is an expert musculoskeletal sonologist specializing in ultrasound-guided procedures such as stem cells, PRP, spinal injections, and nerve hydrodissection. He has done extensive work in Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation, and Nutrition, in addition to his Chiropractic Medicine practice these past 15-plus years.
As a leader of multiple regenerative medicine clinics in Southern California, Dr. Tierney is sought-after for his expertise and has actively assisted in the recovery of many professional athletes, including members of the U.S. Water Polo Team, the U.S. Olympic Swim Team, and players in the MLB and NFL. He is also an experienced educator, serving on the faculty of MSKUS, instructing both physicians and sonographers in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
